Apologies, found that the "remove spaces from host" fixed the problem immediately. Thank you search facility, promise I used you before finding the existing solution!

Hello All,
Happy New Year.
I've come across a little error, it's may not be a TrueNAS's problem but it appears my emails notifications are not getting through.
I use IONOS for the email account sending emails.
A (free) Google account receives them.
Here's an extract of the mail delivery error message found within the IONOS mail inbox (X's have replaced any data considered dicey to make public):
if anyone else has experienced this and resolved it, I would be very grateful to know.
