drives enclosure - good controller

Hello,
my drive enclosure is probably failing .. ie chipset / controller issue.

Can you guys suggest good drive enclosure for 4-5 3.5" drives with controller that can be connected via usb3?

No, we really can't. Please do not connect drives to FreeNAS via USB. The demanding nature of NAS activity, especially things such as scrubs and rebuilds, can bring out the worst behaviours in USB-attached drives.

Please consider getting a chassis that is capable of holding your drives along with your mainboard.
