Greetings to the whole forum.
I bought a used computer for a few euros to create a nas, and when I opened it I noticed that it has an ASR 6405E 128MB raid card to which 2 x 4TB HDs are connected.
I have installed freenas on an old HD SSD, but when I enter the configurations the 2 HDs are not visible.
I don't have great skills, so I need someone to teach me step by step how to install the card driver to be able to manage the 2 HDs.
Thanks in advance.

Greetings

Please try connecting the hard drives directly to the mainboard. The ASR card is not usable.

Thanks to both of you for the replies.
I removed the card and now I see both two discs. Now I have another problem. I have followed many tutorials of truenas, but when I try to add the created folder to network resources, by entering IP address and folder name, I cannot access it, as if the user is not recognized. I have activated SMB on the pc but I cannot see the folder. Could you please help me? Thank you Greetings

Could you share some screenshots of how you have configured your share?

OK, so from 6.pdf, we can see that you haven't made your user the owner.

You need to put your user there as the root user can't be the owner of a share.

You should also check the box to apply user after that.
