I have a 2TB drive that is failed and I am going to replace it.
I was thinking though that I could get a new 4TB drive and use that for replacment.
Then when I have more money replace the other 2TB drives in the pool with 4TB drives.

Can someone confirm that..
  1. This would work as replacement for the 2TB drive (but I wouldnt gain any capacity)
  2. After all 2TB drives in the pool have been replaced by 4TB drives my pool capacity would be doubled

Assuming autoexpand is set to yes for the pool, before you change the drives.
Check the docs for more info...
