Ok so a little background, I have added 2x 2tb WD reds to my Freenas server in a mirrored pair to use for downloads, Sickbeard / couchpotato ect.
I needed more ports and a short card so I added in a Highpoint 640L card.
Now on boot FreeNas keeps reporting that Device ADA1 is faulty, for a time it did report ADA0 as well but since I changed the SATA cables ADA0 is not showing up now as faulty.
So this is what I get on boot :
I replaced the drive with another WD Red I had and afgter resilvering its still saying ADA1 is faulty so thats making me think the drives are fine?
Running Smartctl on the replacment drive shows the drive looks fine (forgot to smart data from the old drive but it passed a few smart long / short tests :
Only thing I have not done yet is try the other two ports on the controller (Going to try that later)
Any thoughts though?, I am scratching my head as to what FreeNas is picking up as a major issue with the drive.
Thanks in advance guys.
