Hey all;

I am new to FreeNAS, so please excuse me if this has been answered before.

Just installed FreeNAS on a desktop that I had lying around. I followed the LifeHacker guide (Here: http://lifehacker.com/turn-an-old-computer-into-a-do-anything-home-server-wit-510023147) to set up the FreeNAS server, and everything went well, untill.. Well..

http://prntscr.com/21iihz

This happens.

I have googled and oggled to no avail. Did a system reset and re-setup the server - still doesn't work.

I have no idea how to fix this.. Please help... If needed, I can provide extra information!

Thanks,
Zach

I was there, but it didn't make much sense to me.. Would there be a place where I can get info like this but easier to understand?
If you can't get your info by searching the forums and using the documentation, you really have no business using any permissions. Set the entire thing up for anonymous access and leave it.

That's about as easy as you're going to get. It's alot different than Windows permissions. Generally either you get it or you don't. If you don't you can either take pirateghost's recommendation to just use anonymous for everything, find a close friend to do it for you(you will need him/her for future support, so make sure its someone you can rely on in the future), or go to an OS you are more familiar with.
