I don't see any reason to think it wouldn't--one SAS connector to four drive bays means it's most likely that this device is just the equivalent of a breakout cable, which is completely transparent to the OS. But I don't know that anyone has tried this particular device to say for sure.

Thanks. I tried it. It works great. I just have to power it with enough juice for 4x SAS3 drives. I guess it's around 20 Watts per drive.
