Docker: Crossgrade to Scale, Add Ubuntu VM, Separate Win10?

As per the title... If I want to add docker to a stable TrueNAS core system

would you
Swap to Scale (and how seamless is that from a working system (6 Jails, no VMs, various backup type tasks, rsyncs etc)
Add Ubuntu VM to current Core, specifically to run Docker (I've not seen that recommended/documented particularly, is there a reason?) (Or a windows VM running Docker Desktop)
Add Docker desktop to a seperate Win 10 machine (Not over powered but "adequate")
