As an alternative, there is this slot on the back of the chassis:

between the hot-swap power supplies and the system board, you can put a pair of hot swap 2.5 in drive bays there with an adapter like this:

You have to really want it though, because it is costly for what you get:

That's not going to be an available option on a system that has an 846EL1. You need the newer chassis that has the slot for it.

Too many things to do between work, school and kids. Also, I had the two server chassis setup on the dining-room table and after a while, my wife wanted it back.
