Hey, maybe you guys could give me some help/advice, I'm quite new to the freebsd OS.
My Truenas adventure started when a friend offered me a old CPU and I decided to acquire some hardware to make my Truenas machine.

My setup:
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770
Motherboard: Intel Desktop Board DH77DF
Ram: 2x4GB ddr3
PSU: EVGA 600W 80plus gold
1 SSD Samsung 870 EVO 250GB (OS)
2 Western Digital 2TB Gold (Raid1)
Only the motherboard and the CPU are used hardware the rest is new.

Everything was working perfectly, but I had to keep the machine down for a week or so.
After that week I decided I wanted a fresh start so I reinstalled the OS and for my surprise I couldn't Import the pool made with the WD disks.
In the UI the disks simply didn't show under the Storage-Disks tab.

After searching here in the forum I've read that having a hardware raid could be a problem so I destroyed the raid, and changed the bios to ahci, and still no disks.
If I use the command "geom disk list" they are listed.
Tested in win10 and the disks are working properly, already checked SMART and it looks OK (at least from my understanding)
Used dban to do a proper wipe, another OS reinstall and no changes.
I skipped some other things I tried but long story short that's it.

if you guys need me to try something and paste here the result go ahead

any advice you could give would be much appreciated.

It's fixed, just to stay here for anyone who might have the same problem.
This motherboard has a hot-plug option in the bios, so what I did was removed the SATA cable of both disks with the machine on a plugged it again.

It's working again :)
