Hello everyone

My nas was working fine. I have an old computer with a gigabyte motherboard that I converted to freenas. The way the particular motherboard works is that I can have four sata 6 connections but I have to do it in somewhat of a strange way. One of them has to be looped out of the case of the machine and plugged into the esata port.

I moved the computer to an office location and forgot that I had to reconnect the eseta to one of my four drives. So obviously when I opened true nas it now tells me my pool is degraded.

When I finally figured it out I shut down the machine properly plugged in the correct cable and set everything up the way I had it before I moved it. However it's still telling me my pool is degraded. Is there some sort of easy fix for this because I'm fairly confident the disc is fine.

I won't lie, I'm completely green at this and I'm really not that experienced with this Nas thing.... so any help will have to be some pretty basic instructions. Would appreciate any help and thanks in advance for it.

It says that the one eSATA drive is unavailable. I'm really sorry but I don't even know what resilvering means

Well I have absolutely no idea what just happened but all my discs are back and running properly. I just rebooted the machine a few times proper shutdown and power on. Maybe it was resilvering when it came back online and just took a little while.
