Let's say i have a 2tb hdd and would like to set two volumes in it

So create 2 volumes. You don't need partitioning to do that

Complete noob Phil here...

I am using UFS and I don't see how to do that. I just installed a new disk in my system to test with. When I create a volume I don't see any options for selecting some part of the disk rather than all of it. Sorry if it is obvious. I just read the volume section in the user guide twice.
