difference of file listing between Truenas and smb share

Hi there,

a certain directory "mail" on a dataset seems to have more files when presented by smb on a windows 10 machine than via MC on Truenas 12.0-U7 itself.

Permissions...
Those look like homeshares to me... do you have the tick in the "use as home share" box on the share properties? are there users with those names on your server? do those users have a home share path defined?

They aren't homeshares. I don't use it on Truenas:
Users on TrueNAS are guyf eveline
