i can't configure 10GB Ethernet card in FreeNAS 9.10 STABLE U2

While using X520-SR2 10gb Ethernet card, both Intel SFP module is works fine. But when i use brocade SFP module it is not showing in ifconfig.

I have tried modifying the /Boot/Loader.conf -> hw.ix.unsupported_sfp=1. But it doesn't work.

The same tune able is working in native FreeBSD 10.3 Release but not in FreeNAS

There is no such FreeNAS version. You must mean 9.10.1-U2.

I should mention that your hardware is rather inadequate for FreeNAS.
The same tune able is working in native FreeBSD 10.3 Release but not in FreeNAS
Then file a bug report.

Thanks Erickloewe,

Yes I'm aware the hardware is inadequate its just a test deployment. We will consider hardware requirements for production deployment.

Then file a bug report.

Bug filed! can you please let me know if there is any alternative to try ? apart from purchasing new SFP. :P
