devd.conf keeps on getting reset on reboot

I have a custom devd.conf file to do my USB backups, but whenever i reboot the devd.conf file keeps on getting reset to the factory file

how can i stop this?

Change it in /conf/base/etc/devd.conf
It won't survive upgrades though...

Better than nothing, script and usb hdd is used to sync 2 12tb freenas boxes lol
