Is there any way to prevent my motds from being overwritten by the default when jails start/restart?

EDIT: For anyone looking to do this in FreeBSD 13, I found that you need to overwrite the /etc/motd.template file with your custom motd file and it will persist across restarts. There is a rc.d script that runs (/etc/rc.d/motd) that is responsible for the overwrite, and it uses this /etc/motd.template file as the source. In earlier versions I believe you can simply overwrite the /etc/motd file, which is the main motd file.
