custom kernel compile and install

I want to compile a new kernel drivers without ix0.
I compiled ix driver separately the first, and I want it to load the module.
Where to get the kernel config.
As I understand it, you can compile a kernel in Jail.
How to install a modified kernel.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? If you want a stripped down, customized kernel, you should be running FreeBSD, not FreeNAS.

I have 10G intel x540-t1 card. It work whith some problem(speed up to 2.7G I want more).
mtu 9000
not work tso at ix driver.
I try to test new driver ix.

Post the output of ifconfig. Also, what utility did you use to test the speed?
