Creating admin user for clusters upgraded to 22.12.0

Hey all

I was creating the admin user in my upgraded cluster according to the docs at https://www.truenas.com/docs/scale/...calusersscale/#creating-an-admin-user-account . But I noticed that the docs doesn't discuss setting up the home directory or the default shell, something that I believe would be configured for users installing 22.12.0 fresh. I would like to setup the admin user in the same configuration as it comes out of the box nowadays. Does anyone have the relevant info?

P.S. I have already created the admin user and I didn't check the option to create the home directory. Now I see that a `nonexistent` directory owned by `admin:admin` is present in my root. Is this behaviour normal?

Here are the default settings for admin (you would need to create group "admin" with ID 950 separately):

Note that I just posted a separate thread regarding using the, otherwise default, "/home/admin" path for the user's home, which the GUI will not let you select without throwing an error...
