So I am trying to create a central storage for all my needs, including VMs.
I have a G2120 in my 'new' FreeNAS whitebox with 16GB ECC RAM. I assumed this would be sufficient for just storing media and files. But now I want to put in my 800GB SAS SSD so I can have more than 1 ESXi host. Will the little G2120 be sufficient for VM storage? Should I use NFS over iSCSI?
Also, I have a H200 flashed to IT mode will https://www.amazon.com/CableDeconn-...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=3NWRQGQZNTH25KDAGP66 work for connecting my SAS SSD to my new FreeNAS whitebox as well as my 3TB SATA drives?
Thanks in advance!
