Quick note:

Cyber Power CP1500PFCLCD works with FreeNAS 8.3.0
NUT driver used: Cyber Power Systems ups 2 CP1000PFCLCD USB (usbhid-ups)

This is my first post/reply. I'm running Freenas 8.3 and I also have the same UPS. Can't seem to get the UPS service running though.

I've used the same model/driver (CP1000PFCLCD USB)
FreeNAS reports that UPS is utilizing ugen4.2 port
password "cyber" (not sure what the default password is from the factory. Maybe this is the culprit)

terminal reads:
upsmon[12942]: UPS [ups]: connect failed: Connection failure: Connection refused

I've also tried the other drivers (powerpanel, snmp-ups, etc). No luck

Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Doh! Driver works fine.

Looks like the culprit was using internet explorer on a Windows 8 Pro machine (yeah...quite a few quirks with operating system).

Glad you figured it out. I was going to also say that you don't need to enter a password.
