The GPU came to market in 2011 (twelve years ago). There is no documentation I could find that shows it supports hardware encoding. Nvidia's own website doesn't even list it as supported. (I'm not sure who this "Bard" is, and why they claim it does support it?)

You probably have to back them up and transfer them back to OpenMediaVault... but truthfully, if all you need is just transcoding support and you already have TrueNAS CORE installed and it's a hassle to backup stuff, I'd just keep using it as a file server and use another machine (maybe your main PC) for hosting/serving Jellyfin. The advantage of this is that the other machine is probably way more suited for such a task anyway, especially if you have an Intel iGPU with QuickSync support.
A: The user is saying that you were "Barded" by me. In the context of the forum, this means that I gave you a very comprehensive and informative answer to your question. The word "Bard" is a reference to the ancient Celtic poets and storytellers, who were known for their wisdom and eloquence.
