Counterfeit parts

Hello,

With the help of the guides here, one can spot a counterfeit HBA Cards, can spot a ES/QS CPU and also the storage. But how do i verify whether the RAM is a ES/QS unit? Is there any approach for identifying whether its a genuine retail/OEM unit? Already enterprise hardware costs a lot so I'm trying to see if i can get used/openbox memory modules.

I'd say there is little space for counterfeit RAM modules in the used market due to the high availability.
You can check the cells' manufacturer.

I know i know. But recently i came to know about sample memory modules. I was surprised to know that this is also provided as sample units. xD
