Core->Scale migration taking forever

I started the migration through the web API 11 hours ago, and the computer is just working like crazy (fans clearly audible) still.
Is this normal?

There are 1 SSD, 2x10TB drives and 2x 8TB drives in the system.

No.... I assume you have no access to a webui or monitor to see what is going on?
