Hello,
I had scale up and running on this box then decided to run core as some scripts I wanted to run didn't have scale versions and I'm too new to figure out how to get them going. So I installed core to do some tests and see what I works best for me.
The initial install went fine, until i noticed that 1 of my NIC stopped auto negotiating to 10Gbe, it was then it went to 100TX after reboot.

Rather than bother the forums, and being such fresh install I decided just to do a clean install over the top.
Now it hangs at

I tried to go back to scale but I cant even get the installer to launch...
So I flashed the bios after having returned it to default settings. Still no luck.

What have I done to myself now?

All help appreciated.

this one popped up on another attempt.

I don’t know how I caused it but I found a shotgun soloution.

Unplugged all drives connected via SAS (LSI), SATA and m.2

Installed TrueNAS to an ssd in a USB caddy no problems.

Connected SSD back into SATA.

Works… but I don’t know why or how.

But incase someone else finds them self in a similar situation maybe this will help.

Thanks.
