containerd-shim zombies accumulating ~1000 per day

Hi there,

Since a couple of weeks my TrueNas Scale System on Latest Version produces [containerd-shim] defunct zombie processes. This also happens after reboot.

I am using about 8-9 docker apps mostly from Truecharts and some self build and launched as single docker image.

Is this a known issues? Any fixes or workarounds?

I looked at mine - as you brought up the scenario.
I have a nice flat graph at around 1.2K - so not seeing what you are seeing.
2 VM's, 5 Containers, mix of official and TC
