Constant volume activity with no load

Hi guys,

I am noticing a lot of low-level disk activity ~100KB/sec with no server load (apart from my web access of course ) .. is this normal? I have uploaded a screen shot.

Yes. Probably. You can check /var/log/messages to see if you're generating lots of error messages, but my gut reaction is that you're seeing normal activity on the system dataset.

Thanks, seeing mostly smbd status messages in the log, nothing unusual .. guess all is ok then.
