I've installed transmission and everything was working great. I found out the my wireless printer and transmission keep fighting for 192.168.0.2 so i tried to change transmission to .0.101 forgetting that that is the static ip for my freenas webgui. now i can access transmission throught 101 but not the web gui to fix this problem, what should i do? D:

SSH is turned off but i do have a mouse and keyboard on the FreeNAS tower so i can do stuff from there.

u could try changing freenas ip address if u have physical access to the box

they are on different ports... freenas in on port 80 - transmission is on 9091 - try typing the 80 in manually - see if that forces you to freenas - you could also configure a static ip in your router for freenas as it should pick that up on restart

I just restored to factory from the box, the router way didn't work and when i tried changing the ip thru the box it wouldn't stick. I've lost all my data but its ok, I didn't put much on it yet just timemachine and some movies that i haven't erased from my external hard drive yet. :/

if you restore to factory thats only the freenas install - the underlying datasets remain and just need to be re-iported to the "fresh" frenas
