I've been using TrueNAS a long time (look at my reg date) and honestly, half the reason I learnt some linux and docker is because jails and plugins were *that annoying to work with* particularly for updates.
Almost every time it would break or go wrong or lose network, VNET something, won't start this, it was a mess.
I just stopped a jail.
Exported it in case (because I'm so used to this)
and updated it and what on earth, a 12+ month old jail, upgraded about 10 revisions and just worked.
So thanks to the community who is working on that, wild stuff, thank you.
