I have 3 storage disks (3x 2 TB) and 1 SSD for ZFS cache.

FreeNAS wants to put swap space on every disk, but firstly, I have 16 GiB of RAM, but even then (I appreciate swap is recommended regardless of how much memory you have), I should think it makes more sense to put ALL the swap space on the SSD rather than across all disks.

How can I manually set up swap on the SSD and prevent FreeNAS putting swap on the other disks?

I'm aware I could use the swapon/swapoff commands, but hoping someone can enlighten me with regards to what will happen when I then try to add the SSD as the zfs cache device. Guessing it will destroy the partition table first and I'll lose my swap again? (But not set up any swap of its own, since I've set swap size to 0 in advanced settings now).
