cloudsync getting stuck every time

I have a cloudsync SYNC task to Dropbox. It runs for a bit and then completely stalls and never resumes (in one instance I waited a week, and it never made progress after getting stuck). This happens every time it runs, through the amount of progress it makes before stalling varies from run to run.

How do I debug this? Are there logs? Is there a way to run rclone by hand to see what's actually going on? Any other suggestions?
