Cloud Sync wrong S3 host / location

Hi everyone,
I am having a strange problem when setting up and running a cloud sync task to S3:

ERROR : : error reading destination directory: Request Error: send request failed caused by: Get https://s3.EU.amazonaws.com/[mybucket]?delimiter=/&max—keys=1000&prefix=[myusername]/: dial tcp: lookup s3.EU.amazonaws.com on 9.9.9.9:53: no such host 2018/07/28 13:36:52

Sure, there is no: s3.EU.amazonaws.com
It should be rather: s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com
as the bucket is configured in Frankfurt, Germany.

The strange thing is that the bucket is seen correctly by the setup dialog.

Any ideas what is casing this behaviour or how to fix this?

I am using the FreeNAS-11.1-U5 build.

Gave up on this issue and moved my backup to B2. Planned to do this anyway.
