Clarity on TrueNAS 12 Hardware Transcoding Compatibility

Hi all,

Just wanted to get some clarity on compatibility. According to this likely infamous thread, it appears there might be some hardware compatibility issues with recent CPUs (their iGPU in specific) and recent versions of TrueNAS. Is there a definitive conclusion on compatibility?

I have an i9-10900k and can't figure out hardware transcoding... If I need to wait for SCALE to release to prod, I'm ok with that, I would just like confirmation that I'm not missing stuff. All the help I've seen for hardware transcoding is related to FreeNAS and older CPUs.

Ive been recently messing around with this. Ive learned alot about it. I now have it working great, but with ancient hardware in comparison. Loving it.
