Clarification required: Scheduling of periodic snapshots

I didn't get this from the FreeNAS Guide so hopefully someone can explain this:

How is the exact logic in the Periodic Snapshots dialog?

If I setup lets say 9:00:00 to 18:00:00 with a '1 day' interval, can I be sure that a daily snapshot will be created at all? If '1 day' means FreeNAS checks only once a day and the check is at for example 19:00:00 this might as well mean that no snapshot will be created.

Can I force a daily snapshot to be created at 3:00:00 by setting from 3:00:00 to 3:00:00?

If I don't mind the times at all, what would be the correct setting? 24:00:00 indicating the end of the day is missing from the dialog. Setting from 0:00:00 to 0:00:00 probably does not represent a full day?

Between X and Y hours, if it hasn't happened for Z time, do this.
