I don't allow guest browsing in cifs and for some reason it only asked for login password once. I am using root as my login and it has sudo permissions. How do I set it up for a required login?? I turn off sudo and still the same issue?

Windows caches credentials. If you use another local account on your computer (or a different computer) you will be prompted again for a password.
