Chelsio T580-LP-CR cabling question

Hi Guys, I bought 2 Chelsio T580-LP-CR for my vmWare server and FreeNAS. I want to connect them both directly. I'm very confused with cabling though. Is this cable https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154476217501 (or any cheap that will do the job) one which will work ok with 2 of them connected directly, or do I need to get Chelsio genuine QTAPCABLE3M ?? I ordered 3 different cables already; none of them work. It says no connection at all. 1st one is Brocade 58-0000033-01 and second Cisco 112-00177; both say no link when I tried them.

My experience has been that 40G Ethernet cables are very vendor-specific. In your case, I recommend getting the genuine Chelsio cables for your back-to-back connection.

Oki I will try this one from ebay and if this wont work I wukk try to get Chelsio one.

I use this card. Dont buy Fiberstore cables, they dont seem to work.

Buy some cisco cables, they work perfectly fine.
