Cheap and fast SSD TrueNAS build - for editing video

Hello Guys,

I'm looking for your experience with TrueNAS and I need some help with choosing the right one solution.

Small server for video-editing purposes, max. 2 users connected in the same time.

TrueNAS with consumer SSDs inside (4x2TB or more, 6x2TB... etc). I'm thinking about Samsung Evo series
RAM with ECC (if it's necessary according to you experience)

Low budget - up to 1000$-1500$

Can you suggests something worth to looking for?

Are you looking to build from scratch? Are you willing to buy a used server? Are noise and power a particular concern?

Can you describe your workflow a little bit more? Do you want to use ISCSi or SMB? Are you going to run other workloads?
