I've got a file on my FreeNas machine that is selected as read only, but I can't seem to change the preferences as an administrator on either of two machines. It tells me I need to be an administrator to delete them, but I think it means administrator on the FreeNas machine, not the Windows ones. So basically I want to delete this file, but the system won't let me. How do I go about changing the permissions on this file (or all files more generally) so that I can easily delete them on a Windows machine.

The storage is set up as ZFS. I haven't changed the default optiosn that much. I've got permission type set as unix and set permission recursively unchecked.

I had used the Windows permission type for CIFS both before and after. I just used that guide to change some other settings (and it seems to be working better now).
