If I try to enable the option, I get a "Field was not expected" error:

Can anyone confirm this is the case on Scale 23.10.0.1 and it's not just me?

Can confirm, same issue here.

I've noticed a number of "middleware itself and the API work fine, but UI doesn't work right" issues in Cobia. If it's anything like those, you can probably change the setting through the API via midclt in the meantime?

They forgot to remove the checkbox from the GUI, hence the seemingly nonsensical error message.

The ability to store the syslogs to the System Dataset has been outright removed.

If you want your syslogs to remain in an encrypted space (such as within an encrypted System Dataset), well at least you can still do that in Core. (For now...?)
