I had quite a few issues with 9.2.1.5. I had to go back a version. Luckily I had created a backup of my flash drive before the upgrade.

Hi guys.

Used the fix and it worked successfully :) . The bad news is now I can't access and files from my windows machines. :(

The CIFS will turn on and off, but I get the message on my windows machines that the drive cannot be accessed as the path is invalid.

Any help would be appreciated.

clincha.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to detach an old volume but I get an error saying the device is busy. I assumed it's because the CIFS service was still on but I can't turn it off. I followed the link above to the patch file however I have no idea how to apply the patch. Has anyone posted any instructins on how to apply a patch in FreeNAS? I can't seem to find any in the forums or the user guide.
