Hello all,

Out of nowhere today my Freenas 9.2.1.7 build stopped sharing it's AFP shares, and for the most part I cannot access the web UI. When the Web UI is inaccessible, so is SSH.

I have rebooted a number of times and for short periods I am able to access the Web UI when the ping latency is steady at <1ms - Afterwards it seems something starts up, latency bounces between 200-500ms, and I can no longer access the web interface.

I've included 2 screenshots from console of PS and TOP commands in an attempt to help troubleshoot, however I am not sure if they help at all.

Could someone point me in the right direction for finding the cause of this?

Thank you,
Dylan

Networking issue - I disconnected the FreeNAS NIC during a continuous ping and it continued to ping, resolving the name to my Windows 7 box. I changed the IP on the FreeNas and it began responding properly.

I have some troubleshooting to do.

use either dhcp or configure static ip's outside of your dhcp range so this doens't happen again.
