I am having an issue with Sonarr which I am running in a Jail on FreeNAS 11.1-RELEASE
Sonarr Version 2.0.0.5225
Mono Version 3.10.0
Too solve the issue with Sonarr I need to update Mono to a newer version (latest version 5.12.0)
The problem is that I can not update Mono from 3.10
When I try pkg install mono I get the following:-
Code:
 Updating FreeBSD repository catalogue...
FreeBSD repository is up to date.
All repositories are up to date.
pkg: No packages available to install matching 'mono' have been found in the repositories

My repository is set to https://pkg.freebsd.org/freebsd:11:x86:64/latest/All/

browsing to this repository shows that mono is not in it.

I have tried pkg upgrade and I get the same issue.

Does anyone know how I can update mono?

Thanks

What version of FreeNAS was your jail created in? My guess would be that it's pre 9.10 and the packages can no longer be updated.

The jail was created when Corral was dropped and I switched back to 9.10.3 I think it was. I have not tried deleting the jail and starting with a new install. If you think it will fix the issue I will give it a try.

I would have expected a jail created at 9.10.3 (so FreeBSD 10.3) still to update, as it's only a couple of month since 10.3 went EOL.

Now you're on 11.1, I'd be looking at rebuilding it using iocage which should then be upgradable moving forward.
