Basically , if i didnt ask my IT friend , i would have never known Windows Education does not allow domains / workgroups / connecting with different credentials .
Did the factory reset on the NASBox , made share 1 and 2 , under SMB put that guest acces was not allowed , made two user accounts (for the two laptops) , with permissions for share 1 , and when i install win. Pro on my pc , i will make an account for myself , for share 2.
I did mange to try out some file transfers . Over my AP it saturated the 300Mbps capability , and over cable it got to around 120 MB/s
All while remaining cool and silent . Granted it only has one 500GB drive for the volume now , but that will probably change in some time.
TLDR. , dumb mistake on my end , by thinking it wasnt working on the PC i crapped up the permissions for the rest ...
