Cannot load ipmi module

despite ipmi/ipmitool are provided by FreeNAS i cannot load the kernel module:

[root@freenas] ~# kldload ipmi
kldload: can't load ipmi: Exec format error

i'm using FreeNAS-8.0.4-RELEASE-x64 (10351)

I have the same problem using FreeNAS-8.0.4-RELEASE-p2-x64. IPMI worked wonderfully in the 8.2 beta.
