I have set up my first freeNAS.
I'm playing around, see what it can or cannot do.
I do not have enough memory for ZFS. So I used UFS instead. However, when I'm trying to install transmission plugin, I'm told that I need ZFS.
Very strange, why is there a coupling between an application and the type of the underlying file system? It is possible to install transmission on practically any retarded Linux distribution, on whatever filesystem you may have. WHy is there a linkage in freeNAS?
