Yesterday the power went out. I have a UPS and the server seemed to shutdown correctly. When the power came back, I turned it back on and it came up with an error stating it can't find the kernel.

Is there a way to recover from this or am I going to have to reinstall FreeNAS?

Sounds like a reinstall of FreeNAS is necessary :(

Darn,

Once I reinstall, Is it possible to re import the jails used from the previous install?

If you are a good admin and you have a backup of your config file you simply have to restore it. If you don't have a backup of your config file you will have to recreate your jails from scratch.

Well I know I have the config from the last upgrade. Should have taken one after the upgrade :(

Need to level up my admin skills ;)

Any ways thanks for the help.
