Hello. I am trying to verify my sever's SSH fingerprint so i don't get MITM'd.
Every guide i find on google tells me that the host keys are stored in /etc/ssh/ , however, my /etc/ssh folder only contains the config files and a moduli file.
I have searched the forum here for a solution but have not come up with anything that describes my problem.
When i check the SSHD config file it tells me that the server should be looking for it's keys in /etc/ssh, but there are no other paths that i could check inside the config file.
Please advise me on the exact default location of the host key file so that i may move it back to it's proper location.
Thank you.
