I have a truenas box that i send a snapshot to from my primary box of home videos and for some reason i cannot access the SMB share the snapshots are sent too, despite setting up what i believe are the correct ACLs. Windows says i dont have permission even when i enter the root account login. Im not the best with permissions so any help is appreciated!

Add a non-root user and give it permission. Recent changes to Samba have made root an unusuable account for sharing.
