I just upgraded from freenas 7 a couple of nights ago after only using it for about two days. * is stable for me so far; still having some file/permissions issues on my shares and other pcs on my network...
I am pretty sure i have set up dynDNS properly in freenas, and I already had it configured in my router for an infrant readynas I already own...all i did was change the IP of the readynas to the IP of the freenas box, left the port at 443, but I get nothing when trying to connect outside of my home.
When I was using freenas 7, for the day or two I did use it before i upgraded to 8, it DID connect fine and i was able to remote access my box from my office with no issues.
I have checked my dynDNS updater to refresh my IP, rebooted the freenas box, and still no go.
is it me or is it freenas?
