can i make a pool based on pcie intel p3700

in all the posts i found that it can be used as SLOG but i want to make a small pool from it.
can it be done? i am using 11.2 FreeNAS

do you know of a bit cheaper alternative still maintaining high read write ratio?

on another question i asked here someone else posted that i can use any nvme brand ssd,, so i asked the seller for a intel p3600/p3700, when ill get it ill update
