Hi there,
I'm on 8.0.4 version FN., I'm using UfS pools since a year as it is recommended for my old architechture i386 with RAM capacity of 1go and is working fine,
As the plugins require a ZFS pools, can I create with another drive zfs pools along with UFS pools and install the superior versions that is freenas 8.2.x with plugins ? If I can, is it possible to save and restore pool configurations using the conventionel GUI method ? Will there be any conflict ?
Thanks in advance .

for any given drive, it can only have 1 file system on it at a time.
you can have 1 drive with UFS, and 1 drive with ZFS, but they will show up as separate drives and will be managed separately.

If you're going to be on 32bit, I would not recommend ZFS. If you are less than 4G RAM, I would not recommend ZFS.
